Location of Gesing beach is in Panjomolyo, Girikarto village, sub District Panggang, District Gunung Kidul. If the traveller wants to this beach, from the city center are suggested to be through Imogori – Panggang which will cut travel time to 1 hour.
The road to reach the Gesing beach is relatively easy and very comfortable, but the backpackertraveller must be careful when driving a vehicle to get to the site. Some locations there is also damaged roads and some roads still limestone based forming cemented road. To reach this location is not too difficult, cause so many name board signs that show the direction to reach the Gesing beach. So, do not be afraid to get lost.
Gesing beach is a beach that has charming white sand and in the mix with some rocks large and small that are in Area of beach. As well as Gesing beach is also flanked by two large cliffs and adds to the distinctive characteristics of the beach Gesing.
Gesing beach also becomes port for local fisherman. There is also auction which will be crowded in the morning when the fishermen back from ocean. If the traveller want to order food in the simple resto are available. The resto offering seafood which typical with a fairly spicy flavor.

WAYANG KULIT, Java's Culture

Wayang kulit  is a traditional  puppet-shadow play  found in the culture of  Java ,  Bali , and  Lombok ,  Indonesia . [1] In a  wayang  kulit performance, the puppet figures are rear-projected on a taut linen screen with a coconut-oil (or electric) light. The  Dalang  (shadow artist) manipulates carved leather figures between the lamp and the screen to bring the shadows to life. Wayang kulit is one of the many different forms of wayang theatre found in Indonesia, the other being  wayang beber ,  wayang klitik ,  wayang golek ,  wayang topeng , and  wayang wong . Wayang kulit is among the best known, offering a unique combination of ritual, lesson and entertainment. On November 7, 2003,  UNESCO designated  wayang kulit  from Indonesia as one of the  Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity .
